The steps to uninstall Office depend on the type of installation you have. The other type is an Office installation from the Microsoft Store app. Open an Office app to check your installation type. Note: If you can't open an app to check your installation type, try the more common Click-to-Run or MSI uninstall steps first. Microsoft Store. Microsoft Store installations have a Version and Build number, and include the phrase Microsoft Store. If you have this installation type, select the Microsoft Store tab. Hopefully it will fix any corrupted files that are found.
It looks like we will have to delete Office manually since uninstalling it doesn't work. I will report back later of another possible solution. Here you go. Its no problem. I can understand how frustrated you must be right now. Once thats done press ok to exit the folder options window, then continue to follow the instructions on the Microsoft KB article I linked to. When you said that you can't go into Windows Explorer, are you saying that when you open it from the My Computer link it opens your My Documents folder?
